Sherlock

Jeff and I watched the British TV show Sherlock over the Labor Day weekend. There are only three episodes in the season, though they're each an hour and a half long. The show is essentially a modern-day version of Sherlock Holmes, set in London. Dr. Watson is an veteran of the war in Afghanistan. His character is played by Martin Freeman, who I think is a great actor - he was the main character in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie and he was in Love Actually. He also seems to have been in everything Simon Pegg was in (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz). The guy who plays Sherlock is an actor I haven't seen before, but he's great in the role. Overall we both really liked the show - it's interesting, engaging, creative, and unique. Can't wait for season two!
